What is Hypnosis?
We've all seen hypnosis in movies and on TV depicted as some guy swinging a watch back and forth, but what is hypnosis really? Hypnosis is a state of deep relaxation and focus allowing your mind to take in positive suggestions. What makes hypnosis so effective is its ability to allow your mind to break past the resistance or the negative talk of "I can't" or "I'll never be able to do that". It creates new habits and change at the root of the issue!

Everyone is hypnotizable. In fact, everyone has experience hypnosis in some shape or form but might not have been aware or realized that's what they were experiencing. Hypnosis is a natural occurring state that happens everyday. For example, if you're driving down the highway and miss your exit or "zone out" and don't even realize how far you've gone. This is a state of hypnosis. Another example is right before you fall asleep you actually transition into hypnosis before falling asleep.

The number of sessions required for any individual is undetermined. Each person and their desired outcome is completely unique and the amount of sessions needed is determined as they progress!
Single session - this might be the way to go if you're just interested in trying out hypnotherapy and looking to learn more prior to committing to several sessions.
3 sessions - when most clients start to notice and feel the most change. After 3 weeks new associates are taking hold and new habits are being created in the mind and body. I recommend this as a strong starting point in creating a lasting change.
6 sessions - most beneficial to not only begin making new associations but really reinforcing the change and letting go of any resistance that may be blocking someone.
